333 – Tile Adhesive

Storage Instruction:

• Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place away from heat sources or direct sunlight.
• Keep away from water and damp areas.
• Avoid using partially used material. Open bags should be tightly tied with string to prevent lump formation.
• As temperature, humidity, water addition, and other parameters vary from site to site, the above information should be treated as general guidelines.

Health & Safety Information:

• Contains eco-friendly fillers and additives. Being cement-based, it is alkaline; avoid direct eye and skin contact.
• In case of eye contact, wash with clean water for at least 15 minutes and seek medical help. Keep out of reach of children.

Surface Preparation:

• Clean the wall surface with a wire brush and potable water.
• Re-plaster the area with ready-mix plaster if necessary.
• Fill up any cracks in base plaster using a crack filler.

Mixing:

• Take approximately 200–300 ml of clean water for 1 kg of Tile Adhesive-333 in a clean bucket. Always add material into water and not vice versa.
• Stir continuously for 3–5 minutes to obtain a homogeneous paste.
• Allow the resultant paste to stand for about 10 minutes.
• Re-mix again for about 2 minutes. The mixture is now ready to apply.

Application:

• Dampen the surface to be plastered with water and allow excess water to drain off.
• The tiles should be immersed in water for two hours before fixing.
• Apply the material using a 6 mm notched trowel and spread it evenly.
• Fix the tile, remove excess mixture, and clean with a cloth.

Precaution:

• Do not add more water than recommended.
• Applicable for ceramic tiles only.
• Maximum thickness should not exceed 3 mm.
• Do not use on gypsum plaster surfaces, paint, wood, or metal.
• Before tile-on-tile application, ensure the original tiling surface has sufficient roughness to provide high-strength bonding.
