Wall Putty

Description:

Sanga Wall Putty is a white cement-based product with re-dispersible polymer and functional additives for application on interior and exterior rough plasters to give a smooth finish.

Technical Description

Recommended Diluent: Potable water.

Method of Application: Putty knife or trowel.

Drying Time: Surface dry – 30 mins, hard dry – 4 hrs.

Gloss Level: Matt finish.

Flash Point: 100% water-based, hence NR.

Fire Hazard Class: Non-flammable.

Pot Life: 45–60 mins.

Usage Area: Interior as well as exterior walls and surfaces exposed to the elements where a high-performance waterproofing and decorative coating is desirable.

Coverage Area: 15 ft. per kg.

Usage Instructions

Clean the surface with sandpaper or a putty blade and then dampen the surface.
Add putty to water to obtain a lump-free plaster and mix well (recommended mix: 35–40% water).
Let it stand for 10 minutes for additives to dissolve, then remix for 2 minutes.
Apply the first coat using a putty blade (thickness: 0.5–1 mm).
Depending on wall condition, allow the surface to dry for at least 3 hours or more, then cure the first coat as needed.
Apply the second coat and allow the surface to dry completely (thickness: 0.5–1 mm).

Wear eye protection during application. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
In case of skin contact, immediately wash the skin with soap and plenty of water. Get medical attention if irritation develops or persists.
It is recommended to wear a suitable nose pad during sanding and surface preparation to avoid dust inhalation.
